Kuala Lumpur: The prestigious Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TARUMT) joined forces with Epic Homes to provide safe houses for the Orang Asli (OA) community in order to address their fundamental needs as well as improve their living conditions.
Interestingly, the entire campaign was executed by TARUMT’s Bachelor Degree Public Relations (PR) students for their coursework, despite their awareness to facilitate secure roofing for the indigenous people in the country including Sabah and Sarawak.
TARUMT President Prof. Ir. Dr Lee Sze Wei who expressed the University’s delight to collaborate with Epic Homes, said OA community’s social and academic development should always be considered in tandem with the nation’s growth since they are also Malaysians.
