Kota Kinabalu: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) candidate for Kota Kinabalu, Yee Tsai Yiew conceded defeat to Pakatan Harapan opponent Chan Foong Hin ahead of any official announcement.
The 32-year-old Parti Bersatu Sabah lawyer said she accepted and respected the decision of voters and will continue to serve the constituency.
“I would like to continue our struggle to serve the people but I congratulate the winner, the incumbent Kota Kinabalu MP for his victory, as well as other candidates in this race,” she said in a statement.
