Fabio Capello criticised Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri over his tactics after defeat at Bayern Munich.
Bayern thumped Lazio 3-0 last night to reach the Champions League quarterfinals 3-1 on aggregate.
Former AC Milan coach Capello said afterwards: "You prepare a match, you think they're playing in a certain way, but they don't.
"You cannot always play with the same system when that system allows the opponents to do what they want. If the 4-3-3 doesn't go well, we change the formation.
"And then in Italy we are not used to this rhythm, we are not used to this speed of play. We need to improve from this point of view."
