Former Juventus coach Fabio Capello has paid tribute to Giorgio Chiellini.
The veteran defender has announced his retirement this week after 18 months with LAFC.
Capello reflected, saying: "I wanted him with me already at Roma, but (Luciano) Moggi arrived very smartly and took him.
"I saw him in Livorno, I wanted to bring him to the capital and after four days Juventus took him... He was an extraordinary footballer, who has improved over the years.
"An example, as well as a footballer with great skills."
