A car in Kuala Selangor was suddenly engulfed in flames, burning for around half an hour before firefighters arrived.
According to a post on XiaoHongShu, a white car can be seen burning, and the fire was eventually extinguished by firefighters who arrived later.
Heard a huge explosion
Speaking to WeirdKaya, a witness said she heard a loud explosion at around 9 pm and went outside to see what had happened.
“I saw the car on fire and started recording, but chose to stand far away as I was scared it might explode again,” she said.
She also mentioned that the firefighters arrived 20 minutes later, suggesting they might have taken a wrong route and went around before finding the location.
The remains of the car are still present at the scene, a stark reminder of the fiery incident.

The video has since triggered a discussion about the cause of the explosion, with some netizens suspecting that car modifications led to the incident.
