A car caught fire on Delhi’s Mehrauli-Badarpur (MB) Road near Lado Sarai on Tuesday afternoon, prompting authorities to rush two fire tenders, an official of the Delhi Fire Services said.

A call regarding a vehicle fire near Saket Metro Station on the main road was received at 12.26 pm.

The fire broke out in a car and two people inside the vehicle managed to come out safely before the blaze intensified.

“No injuries were reported in the incident. The fire was doused at 2.25 pm," the DFS officer added.
