When coming home after a long day at work, Threads user @amirashazwin was greeted by the shocking sight of a vehicle that had fallen from the second floor of the carpark and was now standing on its front on the first floor.

Amirashazwin took to Threads to share footage of the white car hanging off the multi-storey carpark wall. The incident reportedly took place at an apartment in Bandar Baru Ampang.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Amirashazwin recounted the chaos that unfolded around 7:30 PM.

“I was returning home from work when I saw a massive crowd gathered near the motorcycle parking area. At first, I thought a fight had broken out. But when I looked closer, a car had actually fallen from the 2nd floor down to the 1st floor,” the witness shared.

Driver allegedly stepped on the accelerator by accident

According to the witness, the incident allegedly occurred after the driver mistakenly stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake pedal, causing the vehicle to surge forward, crash through the concrete barrier, and plunge over the edge. The commotion quickly drew an angry crowd of residents, leading to a heated atmosphere around a man believed to be the driver’s husband before authorities stepped in.

“Luckily, the police responded very quickly and arrived within 10 minutes to secure the scene and control the situation,” the witness added.

No injuries reported

Despite the dramatic visual of the car suspended in mid-air, no one was harmed in the incident. The vehicle landed directly on two parked motorcycles, damaging their rear sections, but no bystanders or riders were caught underneath at the time of the fall.

“Alhamdulillah, nobody was injured. People were just panicking, and two motorbikes sustained minor damage at the back,” the witness confirmed before heading indoors to avoid the escalating crowd.
