A white car was overturned and set alight in Middlesbrough, as clashes broke out between police and far-right protesters on Sunday 4 August.

On the same day, Sir Keir Starmer warned far-right thugs participating in violence would “regret” it and feel the “full force of the law.”

Violence spread across England following the deaths of three children in a stabbing attack in Southport on Monday.

Far-right groups have drawn condemnation as the organising force behind disorder.
