
A 47-year-old Malaysian man was killed after the car he was driving crashed and overturned before landing on its roof in Kota Tinggi, Johor.
In a statement by Kota Tinggi police chief Supt Yusof Othman, he said the incident occurred at 2.45am along KM5.1 Jalan Kota Tinggi-Kluang (Jalan Tun Habab) today.
Aside from the victim, a 46-year-old local woman was also in the car and was seated in the front passenger seat, reported Malay Mail.

Heart attack believed to be cause
Yusof added the victim was believed to have a heart attack while driving, causing the car to crash and turn turtle.
He died at the scene while the woman was taken to Kota Tinggi Hospital for further treatment.
The victim’s body has been sent to the Forensic Unit at Kota Tinggi Hospital for a post-mortem and further investigation.

The case is being probed under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless or careless driving.
