Kota Kinabalu: Technical Forestry Advisor to the Chief Minister, Datuk Sam Mannan, should be more explicit of the carbon trade deal between Sabah Foundation (SF) and one United Kingdom- based partner, said Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.
The Deputy Chief Minister said he knew about the deal involving 80,000 hectares in Kuamat, Kinabatangan some nine years ago.
Sam on Monday announced that the State had received an advanced payment from the UK partner but the sum remains undisclosed under reason of “business considerations”.
