For example, Sabahan model Amber Chia who achieved success went on to set up her Kuala Lumpur-based Amber Chia Academy on Aug 10, 2010, now touted as Malaysia’s No. 1 Modelling Academy.
Sabah is to own its own beauty pageant brand – “Miss Pearl Pageant” initiated by Kimora Entertainment Network Sdn Bhd founded by Sandakan native Ken Wong in 2013 to search for a beauty queen who epitomises “innocence, purity, peace, beauty and sincerity.”
