Atletico Madrid attacker Yannick Carrasco wants to join Barcelona.
Sport says after Joao Felix's departure to Chelsea, Atletico began looking at Memphis Depay as a replacement. They do not want to pay for him and suggested a swap for Thomas Lemar, which Barcelona did not accept. Barca said they would like Carrasco.
The conversations between two clubs continue and a deal is not ruled out, with Gerard Romero reporting that Barca made contact with the player during the Qatar World Cup.
And Carrasco is extremely keen to come to Barca.
The main problem is Atletico would prefer to keep the Belgian and now it's up to the player to pushs his club.
The operation is being managed by Pino Zahavi, Robert Lewandowski's agent, and Carrasco has started to speak to Atletico about leaving.
