KOTA KINABALU: A 32-year-old storekeeper, charged with the murder of an undocumented man in Penampang, a year ago, had his case transferred to the High Court.
Magistrate Dzul Elmy Yunus made the order on the case of Mohd Hazrul Migo Masan following an application by the prosecution for his case to be transferred as the chemist’s and post mortem reports have been obtained.
Advertisement (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});Hazrul was accused of murdering one Al Sam Amil along with another accused, Najib Adam and seven other accomplices, who were are still at large on Dec 24, 2023, between 4.44am and 6.42am, at the roadside of Jalan SMK Bahang.
His plea would only be recorded in the High Court.

The facts of the case stated that the complainant, who was the supervisor at the restaurant, noticed that the cash placed in the safety deposit box was missing after she returned to work following a year-end leave.
A check on the CCTV footage revealed that Jasper, the worker at the premises, had taken the money after the restaurant had closed.
Jasper was arrested by police following a report lodged by the complainant on Jan 3, this year.
Counsel Carmen Khoo, representing Jasper, requested a lenient sentence as he was remorseful and that it was his first offence.
Inspector Alia Nuurlysa Adnan applied for an adequate sentence.
The court ordered Jasper to serve the sentence from the date of his arrest.
