Casio is teaming up with The Sandbox to drop an exclusive metaverse collab under its VIRTUAL G-SHOCK project. Think: survival games, avatar drip, and limited-edition NFTs, all inspired by the iconic G-SHOCK lineup.

Starting September 3, fans can dive into G-SHOCK City, a gamified world inside The Sandbox platform, to explore the legacy and toughness of G-SHOCK like never before. You’ll be able to:
- Join survival races themed around the brand’s legendary shock-resistance tests
- Play through an adventure-style game chronicling G-SHOCK’s history
- Cop limited-edition NFTs and fully decked-out avatars
Basically, Casio is turning their watches into virtual fashion meets hardcore game energy and we’re kind of obsessed.
G-SHOCK Droid Avatars Are a Whole Vibe
Alongside the launch, Casio is releasing its official G-SHOCK Droid Collection, robot-style avatars designed after five G-SHOCK styles:
- DW-5600
- DW-6900
- GA-110
- GA-2100
- And the chunky GA-V01
These avatars aren’t just for flexing. They’re digital collectibles with rarity levels, priced from 19 to 399 SAND (The Sandbox’s currency). Want to be early? Allowlist registration starts August 5.
