Kota Kinabalu: Travellers are advised to purchase holiday packages only from registered and licensed travel agents to avoid being scammed.
Tourism Malaysia Director-General Datuk Dr Ammar Abd Ghapar said consumers must be vigilant when selecting travel packages, as scammers have become very skilled in what they do.
