Kota Kinabalu: The Wanita Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) has urged young political leaders to exercise maturity before making statements.

Its leader, Datuk Seri Azizah Mohd Dun, said even if they are acting on the instructions of others, young leaders must remain rational.

Advertisement“Some of their own leaders have committed wrongdoings yet still hold high positions in the government.

“In fact, some of their leaders in Sabah have already been brought to court,” she said after delivering aid to fire victims in Kampung Teguli, Petagas at Dewan Sri Putatan on Friday.

“Certain parties seem more focused on bringing down Sabah leaders rather than advocating for the people’s rights.

“Sabah leaders must instead unite and support efforts to return the state’s resources to its people, rather than undermining each other.

“We need leaders with a strong vision who are committed to the state’s development,” she said.
