If you use a CelcomDigi line at home or on your phone, an upgrade or new subscription could now win you prizes, thanks to the telco’s Mega Gegar 20 Juta campaign. From 23 July to 30 September 2026, CelcomDigi is offering up to RM20 million worth of prizes to celebrate its base of more than 20 million customers, and transactions from as low as RM20 can qualify you for the contest.
The prize pool covers 20 grand prizes and more than 74,000 bonus prizes, spread across five contest cycles. Even if you win a bonus prize in an earlier cycle, you stay in the running for the grand prizes in the finale.
What You Could Win
The 20 grand prizes will be decided at the Cycle 5 Grand Finale, and their values range from concert tickets to a six-figure home makeover.
Most of the bonus prizes are connectivity perks rather than gadgets. Of the 74,224 bonus prize winners, 70,000 will receive a year of free 15GB monthly high-speed internet, 1,500 get a year of free worldwide roaming, and the rest receive Samsung devices (including the Galaxy Z8 Fold and S26 Ultra), sooka Entertainment subscriptions, or MobileSHIELD digital protection.
Which Transactions Qualify You
Everyday upgrades and new sign-ups get you into the contest, but do note that renewals, auto-renewals, and recurring subscriptions are excluded. The transaction has to be new, whether that is a fresh registration, a port-in from another telco, or a plan upgrade.
Purchases made under the Mega Gegar 20 Juta Nationwide Sale also count. Making multiple qualifying transactions within the same cycle does not give you extra entries, so spreading purchases across different cycles enters you into more draws than stacking them in one.
Fastest Correct Answers Win The Prizes
A qualifying transaction alone does not win you anything. You need to download the CelcomDigi app, sign in with the number tied to your transaction, and make sure your account has no overdue amounts. The day before each cycle’s contest date, you will receive an SMS from 22228MYCD with instructions and a time slot to answer qualifying questions in the app.
Winners are ranked by how quickly they submit a complete and correct answer, with the earliest responses ranking first and receiving the higher-value prizes. The mystery box in the app then reveals your outcome. The campaign runs over five cycles, and each cycle draws from transactions made in a specific window.
You can only win one bonus prize across Cycles 1 to 4, but everyone who qualified at any point during the campaign remains eligible for the grand prizes in Cycle 5. The top 40 finalists from the finale will be invited to a Grand Finale Event, where activities on the day determine the final ranking for the grand prize allocation.
Rebates And Free Subscriptions On Top Of The Contest
The campaign also comes with fixed rebates and free subscription months that do not involve the contest at all.
The rebates come off your monthly bill rather than the purchase price, so you will see the savings spread over the contract period instead of upfront. Every purchase made under these offers also counts as a qualifying transaction for the contest.
Eligibility Rules That Can Cost You The Prize
Check your eligibility before counting on a prize. You must be 18 or above and a Malaysian resident, and any overdue amount on your account disqualifies you. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, and grand prize winners pay for their own car registration, road tax, and travel documents.
