As interest in regenerative medicine continues to grow, Owen Regenerative & Longevity is encouraging Filipinos to look beyond cosmetic enhancements by promoting medically guided treatments, preventive care and healthier lifestyles through a new campaign featuring celebrity ambassadors.
The clinic formally welcomed actors Tony Labrusca, John Vic de Guzman, Andrew Muhlach, Jayson Gainza, Paul Salas and Gerry “Mr. Freeze” Santos, along with host Sam YG, as its newest ambassadors.
Meanwhile, television personalities Pia Guanio-Mago, Maricel Tulfo and Sachzna Laparan renewed their partnership with The SB Clinic during the contract signing attended by founder Dr. John Paul Pareja and operations manager Angelica Pareja.
For Pareja, regenerative medicine should not be viewed as another beauty trend but as part of a long-term commitment to better health. “We want to establish Owen as part of the movement toward self-care. We want people to keep their health while achieving their goals.”
Among the clinic’s flagship offerings is its body recomposition program, which combines physician-guided treatment with nutrition, exercise and lifestyle changes.
“Many people try to lose weight on their own, but when they do, they also lose muscle mass. If you lose muscle together with fat, you become weaker, and that’s anti-longevity. We want patients to retain their muscle while reducing body fat,” Pareja explained.
With peptide therapy becoming increasingly popular online, Pareja also urged the public to avoid purchasing products without consulting healthcare professionals.
“The first step is always a medical screening. We conduct blood tests and body scans to determine what your body actually needs. Some patients need to lose weight, others need to gain muscle or improve recovery. That’s why treatment has to be personalized,” he said.
He said dosage is adjusted according to a patient’s weight, body composition, medical history and daily routine.
“It’s not something where everyone follows the same dosage. We even ask what your day looks like — from morning until night — because treatment should fit your lifestyle. We adjust the dosage weekly based on your progress,” he said.
Pareja also warned that the growing availability of peptide products online has led to the circulation of counterfeit and improperly stored medications. He added that self-medicating can have serious consequences.
Actor Tony Labrusca said the combination of healthier habits and treatments has improved his confidence. “I started looking in the mirror and liking what I was seeing. That was a really nice feeling,” he said.
For Sam YG, the partnership is not just being an ambassador for a clinic but is something he can actually use. “We’re not endorsing something we don’t practice. We stay active, we want to be healthy, and we want to have the energy to keep doing what we love.” The launch highlighted Owen’s broader vision of making regenerative medicine and longevity-focused healthcare more accessible while encouraging Filipinos to adopt healthier habits before illness develops.
As Pareja put it, “Everything goes hand in hand — the exercise, what you eat, what you put into your body and your wellness routine. These are the things that help us live longer and age better.”
