Cunard is serving up new opportunities for cruise guests to experience its popular Le Gavroche at Sea residence with chef Michel Roux.
The cruise line has announced the return of its Culinary Residencies with Roux for 2027 and 2028, including five exclusive sailings on board Queen Anne.
With Le Gavroche's doors now closed on land, the Cunard cruise ship will be the only place where guests can savour the restaurant's renowned cuisine.
The Michel Roux Culinary Residencies will take place on seven-night Norway and Norwegian fjords voyages each in May, August and September 2027, with further sailings confirmed on a Norway and Denmark voyage in May 2028 and a Norwegian Fjords voyage in June 2028.
Guests can enjoy Le Gavroche dining inside the ship’s Sir Samuels restaurant with a specially curated tasting menu with Roux, available to just 50 guests each evening. It costs $250 (£189) per person.
There will also be a three-course gala menu in all main dining rooms and special seafood dishes in the Carinthia Lounge.
Guests will get the chance to meet twins Ursula and Silvia Perberschlager, affectionately known as 'The Sisters', who worked front-of-house and became much-loved figures at Le Gavroche for more than 20 years.
Plus, Roux will host live cooking demonstrations, talks, and question and answer sessions during the sailings.
Paul Ludlow, president of Cunard, said: "The response to Le Gavroche at Sea has been extraordinary since its launch, and we're delighted to continue our partnership with Michel in 2027 and 2028. Michel's passion for exceptional cuisine and craftsmanship aligns perfectly with Cunard's commitment to creating unforgettable experiences at sea.
“These residencies bring together outstanding dining, inspiring enrichment and some of northern Europe's most spectacular scenery, creating voyages that are truly unique to Queen Anne.”
Roux said: “Today, Queen Anne is the only place in the world where guests can experience the spirit of Le Gavroche in this way, bringing together exceptional food, great company and unforgettable travel. Sharing that experience at sea, while sailing through some of the world's most spectacular destinations, makes it truly special. I look forward to welcoming guests on board for another memorable season."
There have been 12 Le Gavvroche at Sea residences on Cuanrd ships since 2024, across both Queen Mary 2 and Queen Anne.
This could be the final time that guests can enjoy the experience aboard Queen Anne as the cruise ship is due to transfer to P&O Cruises in May 2029.
