A used baby chair being offered for just RM60 has sparked laughter online after the seller claimed that the chair had once been used by a celebrity’s son.
The post, shared on Facebook by Cambenny Cambenny, featured photos of a visibly “well used” baby chair, complete with stains, scratches and signs of wear. The seller explained that they had replaced it with a new one and were now looking to sell the old chair at a cheap price.
“Changed to a new one, so I’m selling this second hand one. RM60 is fine. Anyone interested?” the seller wrote, adding that it was for self-collection and the price was non-negotiable.
But what really caught netizens’ attention was the seller’s unexpected selling point.
According to the post, the chair had previously been used by the son of a celebrity.
That one detail immediately turned the simple second hand listing into a source of entertainment for commenters.
Some jokingly questioned whether anyone would actually pay RM60 for a heavily used chair simply because a celebrity’s child had once sat in it.
One commenter even joked that they would not take it for free, while another suggested that if the seller priced it at RM600, they might at least consider it, especially if it really belonged to a famous family.
Another netizen jokingly remarked that they would only buy it if the chair came with proof of the celebrity connection.
Others were much more straightforward, simply telling the seller to “sell it for RM600” or joking that the chair was being treated like a collectible item.
Despite the hilarious comments, the seller appeared to be serious about getting rid of the old chair after upgrading to a new one.
Whether the chair’s celebrity connection will actually convince someone to pay RM60 remains to be seen.
For now, the second-hand baby chair may have found something more valuable than a buyer its very own viral moment.
