- James Acaster has revealed that key scenes explaining why James Blunt spearheaded Julie Hesmondhalgh’s banishment on Celebrity Traitors were edited out of the show.
- Broadcast episodes showed Blunt targeting Hesmondhalgh because she won the first immunity shield, leading to the incorrect banishment of a Faithful player.
- Acaster explained that Blunt actually suspected Hesmondhalgh of lying after she publicly claimed he was withholding theories despite him sharing one with her privately.
- Acaster admitted he would be pretty gutted if he were in Blunt's position due to the misleading edit by producers.
- The comedian also reflected on his own game, revealing he originally wished to play as a Faithful detective before being recruited as a Traitor.
