Celta Vigo coach Carlo Carvalhal is delighted with the way the players have responded to his methods.
Carvalhal has made a major impact since taking charge.
Ahead of facing Rayo Vallecano, he said: "It took us a lot to get to a better plan than two months ago. We have to be very focused on the road and this is Rayo Vallecano.
"We are making our trajectory. The keys to improving the team are the work, the spirit of the team, the players. They are a set of situations as well as humility, attitude and respect for the rival. We are on the right track."
On Rayo coach Andoni Iraola, he added: "I like coaches who start from the bottom and go up through the competitions. His teams are organised, with quality players and aggressive in a good way."
