Both sides will make the long trip to Australia in mid-November during the World Cup, to compete in the bi-annual exhibition tournament alongside local clubs Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers.
Postecoglou said: “It should be good. When overseas clubs come here, it's always great, because people get to see their heroes close up. The difference for us is we're not coming in pre-season. We're literally playing on the weekend, getting on a plane and getting here.
“The boys will be in good nick. It'll be a real game against Sydney and against Everton. As you said, I wouldn't mind knocking off Everton, that would be nice.
“The one thing I've discovered is the support of the football club is global. Even down under. We've got some passionate fans down here. I guarantee the atmosphere will be something special. So it'll be good games in a great atmosphere."
