Megah Rise Mall suffered severe damages to its infrastructure yesterday evening, following a heavy rain.
Based on the videos circulating online, a large section of its car porch ceiling nearby the entrance began collapsing soon after.
Three individuals were reportedly injured, but have received the necessary medical attention.
As authorities are now looking into the case, the CEO of PPB Properties, Low Eng Hooi, released an official statement to address the matter.
He assured that the unaffected sections of the mall will resume operations, while repair works to be conducted on the damages.
