Kota Kinabalu: Sabah businessmen see great prospects in Sabah’s East Coast, especially in terms of strengthening linkages with markets and resources in the East Asean region.
They noted attempts by POIC Sabah Sdn Bhd, through POIC Lahad Datu industrial park (widely known as POIC Lahad Datu) becoming the logistics, manufacturing and transshipment hub for BIMP-EAGA.
He stressed the importance of basic infrastructure and amenities, and the image and perception of an investment destination as key factors.
