Chan Foong Hin rewards 367 top SPM achievers with over RM100,000

KOTA KINABALU: A total of 367 outstanding SPM 2024 students in Kota Kinabalu were honoured with cash awards totalling over RM100,000, allocated by Kota Kinabalu MP and Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities, Datuk Chan Foong Hin.

Held at SJKC Chung Hwa Likas, the second annual Anugerah Kecemerlangan SPM MADANI ceremony recognised students who scored between 6As and 11As, with RM250 to RM300 awarded per recipient.

Special honours went to Soh Yim Qin (10A+) and Mohammad Arif Mohammad Adam (9A+, 1A), both from Tshung Tsin Secondary School.

Last year, Chan allocated RM55,000 for 205 students who excelled in the 2023 SPM.
