On account of Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid), the Chandigarh Administration has declared a public holiday on May 28 (Thursday), instead of the public holiday already declared on May 27 (Wednesday).

All government offices, boards, corporations, institutions, including industrial establishments, under the Chandigarh Administration, will now observe a public holiday on May 28 under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
