Major news stations including BBC, ITV, Sky, and Channel 4 all faced off during the general election coverage last night (4 July), supplying key moments from the biggest faces in politics throughout the evening.

On Channel 4, Alastair Campbell clashed with Nadine Dorries, who suggested he was being “sexist” after telling her to “get over” Boris Johnson.

Meanwhile on the BBC, Steve Baker was forced to react quickly when he was told he had just a 1 per cent chance of winning his seat.

However, over on Sky, viewers were left baffled when Kay Burley and Andy Burnham were left making some questionable noises as the exit polls came in.
