Charli XCX has apologised to fans after illness forced her to pull out of a date on her Music, Fashion, Film Tour at short notice.
Posting to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the three-time Grammy winner did not detail the specific condition she has caught, but explained that it has left her unable to sing, forcing her to call off her concert at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, on Wednesday.
The singer wrote: "Arizona angels. I am so, so sorry to say we have to cancel tomorrow’s music fashion film show.
"I have been fighting sickness throughout this run of shows and have now completely lost my voice.
"I put absolutely everything I have into my performances, both physically and emotionally, and it breaks me that I can’t be with you tomorrow."
Charli, 34, explained that her team could not secure a replacement date at the Desert Diamond Arena, leaving her "so disappointed".
However, the “365” hitmaker promised fans she will "return to AZ in the future".

Charli stated: "Again, I’m sorry to the angels who had made plans to be there tomorrow. I know how much time, planning, and care it takes to come to concerts and appreciate everyone's support immensely."
The “Boom Clap” singer confirmed her gig at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Friday (23.10.26) will go ahead as scheduled.
She finished her message by saying: "I am now resting ahead of the final show in Vegas this Friday. I want to be back onstage and finish this tour together with you. Love you all x Charli."
The “party 4 u” star added that refunds will be issued to fans.
Charli launched her Music, Fashion, Film tour at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on September 11, with the final show planned for the Accor Arena in Paris, France, on February 24, 2027.
Last month, Charli revealed she finds live touring "emotionally and physically hard" following criticism over scheduled performances in only six cities—Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Amsterdam and Paris—for the 2027 UK and European leg of her tour.
Replying to complaints, the “Von Dutch” star wrote on Instagram: "I know there’s a lot of frustration in the comments about the fact that I am not doing lots of dates.
"I am really sorry if you feel disappointed but I have to honour my truth as an artist: touring is really emotionally and physically hard for me.
"I am not looking for sympathy and I have a huge amount of respect for artists who can handle it at an intense, lengthy and high octane level, but I am just not one of those human beings and I never have been."
Charli, who mentioned choosing a brief schedule for her current North American leg for identical reasons, stated she would try her best to enjoy the upcoming concerts.
She added: "I’m sorry if you feel I am letting you down; I really am. Perhaps one day I will be built for the kind of touring you expect from me but right now I am not.
"If you’re coming to a show I hope you have fun and enjoy it, and I will try my best to stay in a healthy and positive mindset and enjoy it too."
