Footage captures the panic after a shot was fired at far-right political activist Charlie Kirk while on stage at a speaking event at a university in Utah on Wednesday (10 September), killing the 31 year old.
A loud gunshot can be heard as attendees were being filmed for interviews at the event, before the crowd at the Utah Valley University campus drop to the floor and run from the scene.
Kirk, a close ally of President Donald Trump and the face of right-wing campus activism, was fatally shot in the neck — an attack that officials have labeled a “political assassination.”
