Manchester United midfielder Charlie Savage was withdrawn at half-time of the under-21 team's draw with West Ham on Friday because he is training with the first team.
The Athletic says the 19-year-old will once again be involved with Erik ten Hag's first team set-up during the upcoming international break.
Savage, son of former United academy product Robbie, made his senior debut in a Champions League tie last season.
The midfielder was also underwent a full preseason with the senior squad.
