Places to catch sunsets in Klang Valley

Every beginning must come to an end and what better symbolisation can there be than the setting of the sun. A moment that signifies the end of the day, its scenic view that promises an end to a beautiful day, and a new one will start soon after.

The dawn of dusk envelopes us with the comfort of knowing our day has culminated and we can look forward to another tomorrow. This is the moment where seconds can make a beautiful memory – alone or with others – indulging in that promise.

With this, we introduce four beautiful spots within the premises of Selangor, Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur to catch that small, fleeting glimpse at the setting sun in all its glory.

Putra Mosque Putrajaya (Sunset)

Address: Persiaran Persekutuan, Presint 1, 62502 Putrajaya, Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya

Accessible by bus, this principal mosque of Putrajaya is located on the edge of Putrajaya Lake, in the heart of the city next to Dataran Putra. Named after the first Prime Minister of Malaysia Tungku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, this mosque has become one of the most popular tourism spots of Putrajaya with its intricately embellished pink granite domes. Tourists visiting will have the opportunity of witnessing the beautiful afterglow of the setting sun against the pink granite backdrop of the mosque, making it a view to remember.
