Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Vijay Kumar on Wednesday released a book, ‘Content-cum-Pedagogy of Social Sciences’, written by faculty members of the university’s Department of Education.
The book has been written by Assistant Professors Poonam and Indu Bala and co-authored by Pooja. It has been published by AIRO Publication, Gwalior.
Speaking at the book release function, Prof Vijay Kumar congratulated the authors and described the book as a significant contribution to teachers’ education and social science studies. He said quality teaching material and research-based publications have become increasingly important in view of the National Education Policy-2020. The VC added that the university’s faculty members are contributing not only through teaching and research, but also producing useful academic literature.
