Cheating death: Lorry crashes into 14 vehicles in Putatan

Kota Kinabalu: A 42-year-old mother, who just sent her nine-year-old daughter and a niece to a primary school here, cheated death when a lorry crashed into her Perodua Bezza and 13 other parked cars including a motorcycle, in front of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Tansau, Ketiau, here, on Friday morning.

In the 11.30am incident, the victim was unhurt while the lorry driver who is a 56-year-old foreign man, has fled from the scene and believed has surrendered to the police in Penampang.

The victim told Daily Express that she was grateful that the accident occurred after she sent her daughter and a niece to SK Tansau, and she was just feeling shocked when the lorry rammed the rear of her Perodua Bezza which ended up in a total loss.
