Chelsea and England veteran Raheem Sterling could face a ban for throwing a missile into the crowd.

Sterling was involved in his team's dramatic 4-1 win over Tottenham on Monday night.

The Premier League game was marred by incidents, including the crowd throwing a missile onto the field.

Social media footage shows that Sterling threw the object back into the crowd and then ran back to his own half.

The video on social media, which originated on Chelsea's own TikTok account, shows the entire incident.

Players have been disciplined for such actions before, as then Everton star Richarlison was banned by the FA for throwing a lit flare into the crowd in May 2022 against Chelsea.
