Chelsea are ready to upgrade the contracts of Mason Mount and Reece James.

The England pair are committed to the Blues, though feel underpaid given their current status. Mount is in the final two years of his contract, while James has three years remaining on his deal

The London Evening Standard says the new owners want to ensure rising stars are rewarded, and Chelsea are ready to give Mount and James significant pay rises to secure their futures.

Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has also been assured his contract will be addressed once the summer market closes.

Mendy's terms fall well short of his deputy, Kepa Arrizabalaga.
