Chelsea star Cole Palmer believes the future is bright at Stamford Bridge after a tough season.
Palmer stood out in his first campaign at the club after a summer move from Manchester City.
The Blues ended the Premier League season in sixth place, securing European football for next term.
After victory over Bournemouth, Palmer told Premier League Productions: "Over the past five games we have gelled together more than we did at the start of the season. Many things happen."
He added on departing centre half Thiago Silva: "He's one of the best centre-backs to play the game. What a legend."
"We're a young, exciting squad. If we keep working and pushing then I think big things can come for us."
