Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has spoken about the decision to let Lewis Hall leave the club in the summer.
The defender has enjoyed a great spell with Newcastle United, and will be signing permanently with the Magpies in the summer.
Pochettino chose not to put up a fight to hold onto Hall, admitting there were too many players for that position in his squad.
He told reporters: It was a player with the conditions here, too many players in that position ahead of him.
The player and the club took the best decision for both sides.
Unlucky that he cannot play but he has a good future and hope he can settle well there."
