Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed Lesley Ugochukwu is one for the future.
Chelsea are closing a deal for the 19 year-old Rennes midfielder.
It's been suggested Ugochukwu will be immediately loaned to Chelsea's sister club Strasbourg - which Pochettino has now confirmed.
Speaking after their preseason win against Fulham, the manager said: "It's obvious that maybe we need to reinforce this area. We need experience in midfield.
"My information is a player that is from France that they sign with the idea for some loan. The information was already in your laptop. Nothing to say too much."
