Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino insists Marc Cucurella is a required player.
Pochettino says the left-back is in his plans.
He said: "I was not involved, but he is our player and I have been very clear. He has the chance to play.
"Marc will work hard. It is quite clear. He is part of our plans and if he deserves to play he will."
Chelsea bought Cucurella from Brighton in 2022. So far the 25-year-old defender has made 35 appearances for the London club.
