Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has ruled out a return for Christopher Nkunku in midweek.
The France attacker has been training with the Stamford Bridge club since returning to fitness.
Nkunku is recovered from the knee injury he sustained in preseason, shortly after signing for the club.
However, Pochettino stated Wednesday against Manchester United has come too soon: "No. Hope [he's back] soon.
He is not involved tomorrow. I think it is like we always tell you, it's about assessing day by day.
Sometimes we get excited and we want to have the player as soon as possible but I think we need to be careful."
