Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says his suspension wasn't a factor in defeat at Newcastle.
Pochettino watched from the stands for their 4-1 thrashing.
He later said: "It is not about being there or not. It is about being more mature, as a team we need to show a different energy, a capacity to compete. For me that is the key. Maybe you can feel it is a topic or not a topic.
"But that is why we were talking about being consistent. Sometimes it is like 'ok we play Manchester City and everyone is going to be focused on us, we are going to fight until the end. If I need to put my head or dive for some actionbut now we need to translate.
"The big teams perform every week or every three days in this way. That is a thing we need to set in the team."
