Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says Carney Chukwuemeka and Reece James are close to a playing return.
Ahead of facing Burnley, Pochettino revealed midfielder Chukwuemeka could make the matchday squad.
He said, "It was close last week to join us. This week has trained well, I still have not decided because I need to check with Jesus and the medical staff everything after training as I was straight from the training pitch to the press conference and 30 minutes late, I apologise for that. We started training a little late and we need to assess all of the players now and see if they can come."
On captain James, he also said: "I think he was training with the group and he is suspended for tomorrow. I think yes, we are really happy with his recovery and after his injury he is doing well, hope after the international break he will be available. Sorry, he is available but after he is suspended, he could have the opportunity to be involved."
