Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino felt his side were deserving of a late win on Monday night.
The Blues bested Crystal Palace in the Premier League to go 10th in the table.
While Pochettino would have wanted the game wrapped up earlier, he was happy with the two late goals to earn a 3-1 win.
He stated post-game on leaving it late: "Yes. You ask me why? I think so [we deserved it] on the second-half.
First-half, no. First-half, we were so disappointed. The performance wasn't great. We were so slow and we were so flat and very disappointed.
"We all feel very disappointed with the first 45 minutes but in the second-half, we started the game how we should start from the first minute. But in the end, I think we deserved the victory."
