Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino was happy with matchwinner Cole Palmer against Fulham.
Palmer scored from the spot for Saturday's 1-0 win.
Pochettino said: "I think we believe in him and even when he does not score and misses big chances like he did against Middlesbrough.
"We are always going to be disappointed because we believe in him and he has the quality to play. I think it's important for young guys like him to feel the support from the coaching staff and the club and his team-mates.
"He is very young, and it's the first season he has played consistently every week, and that can happen but the most important thing is to believe in him and give him confidence."
