Chelsea boss Graham Potter says Mykhaylo Mudryk needs patience.
The 100m signing was hooked after a low-key performance for yesterday's 1-1 draw at West Ham.
Potter later said, "It will take time before the new players adapt and they need that time.
"It's a sad answer and I understand that the supporters are impatient and want to see results. But that's the way it is."
Chelsea have won only one of their last seven games in the Premier League.
