New Chelsea boss Graham Potter has dubbed himself as "head coach".
Amid claims Thomas Tuchel lost his job as the new ownership wanted him involved beyond the first team, Potter defined his role at today's Champions League presser.
He said, "I've always seen myself as a head coach, my job is to help the football club. I was lucky that in Sweden I got to build a football club, but the club is the most important thing. We are just here to serve and do our best. My main job is to help the players who are here improve.
"The connection with the supporters and the team is important.
"I'm a member of the team, an important member but no more important than anyone else. I'm thankful for their support. I can promise I'll do my best and take responsibility. I'd like to see a balanced team in terms of attack and defence, a respectful team that runs and fights."
