Chelsea youngster Ian Maatsen could leave the club on loan this month in a surprise move.
The 21-year-old has played 15 games for the club this season, while he was at Burnley last term.
Burnley are hoping to bring him back to the club for the second half of this season.
The problem is that Chelsea have sent seven players out on loan, which is a FIFA limit.
The Sun states that with Maatsen being under-21, there could be an exception.
His age will ensure that he is able to make a move to get regular first team football.
The club are also in the process of negotiating a new deal with Maatsen.
