Chelsea are said to have drawn up a list of potential midfield targets for the summer transfer window.
The Blues are determined to add a top central midfielder to their squad, after they hire a new head coach.
Per The Telegraph, Mauricio Pochettino is still the favorite to take the job in the summer.
The Blues will then go after one of Sporting's Manuel Ugarte, West Ham captain Declan Rice, Borussia Monchengladbach's Manu Kone or Southampton starlet Romeo Lavia.
The Blues will likely sell many players early in the transfer window, including Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher.
Mount may still stay, if he signs a new deal, but the other two appear near certain to depart.
