Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is looking into adding more football clubs to his portfolio.

The American has been extremely hands on since taking over from Roman Abramovich, along with a consortium of investors.

Boehly was Chelsea's de facto director of football over the summer, and has now set his sights on adding more football clubs to his empire.

The City Football Group at Manchester City is a prime example of such a model in action.

Speaking at the SALT Conference, Boehly said: "We've talked about having a multi-club model.

"I want to continue building out the footprint.

"I think there's different countries where there's advantages to having a club."
